Island Fiction is a kind of a ticket to Surtsey, a remote island that is off-limits for general visits and can only be accessed for scientific research. Within its pages, you'll discover both artwork and the travelouge of Þorgerður Ólafsdóttir, who was granted special permission to visit the island and capture it through the medium of art. Additionally, the book contains insightful scientific essays authored by women in the fields of archaeology and environmental studies, shedding light on their unique encounters with the island.

Núningur is a poetry collection that contemplates perception, measurement, and interpretation, and the friction between nature and man-made objects and ideas. Time and routine are resisted while a hidden shortage is sought. Dust swirls and words do not survive.

“I feel like something has been taken away from me – something I’m not sure I ever had.“ Glingurfugl is a graphic novel which lyrically and quietly tells the story of two birds, Margrét and Eva, on a journey to retrieve their memories and discover who they really are in a mysterious world that is hostile to birds. Glingurfugl is published in 200 copies, comprising 64 pages of watercolours and ink drawings. It is a standalone sequel to Gombri (2016), a graphic novel by the same author, and introduces new characters to the multifaceted world of Gombri.

Gombri is a graphic novel that tells the story of Gombri, who has grown tired of the gloominess surrounding him and so decides to abandon his home, the Garden. He starts out on a long expedition — determined never to return again. The graphic novel’s central subject matters are nature, truthfulness and existence. Gombri is just about two hundred pages long and was released in as many copies.
